Mr. & Mrs. Jarolimek

Have I said before we love weddings? You don’t have to have the big wedding and reception to have a wedding right? Todd and Emily got married at the courthouse so they decided a session at the old courthouse in the county they are married in was perfect. It is much a neat building and it fit them so well.

Although it rained a ridiculous amount of rain after this session which put a damper on the outdoor party that was planned, at the end of the day they are still married and happy.
Congratulations to Todd & Emily and thanks for letting JGP capture your wedding day!

Schutt Wedding

As our first wedding of 2014, we were SO excited and could not have asked for a better start for our wedding season!

Ronnie and Whitney were amazing!

They had a beautiful ceremony surrounded by their closest friends and family.

The venue was great and offered a beautiful setting for the reception as well.

As you can see from the photos this couple is meant for each other! Ronnie looks at Whitney in the sweetest way, and she looks at him the exact same way. Sometimes you just know you are with the right one!

We got to ride our first trolley with a wedding party, which was good and out came some fun photos. The entire wedding party was great and we could not have asked for better weather for April!

Thank you so much Ronnie and Whitney for letting JGP be part of your wedding day!

We wish you and your family the best!

Congratulations!

The rest of their First day can be seen on our website 🙂

St. Charles County Parks and session issues

Only a few days left to lock in your packages before the price increase on June1st. To lock in your pricing, payment must be received by June 1st.

There is also another issue I wanted to make sure everyone is aware of, St. Charles County parks are banning photographers from shooting any sessions on Friday, Saturday and Sundays, which are the most popular days for sessions. Several other photographers have been emailing about this issue but nothing has changed yet. They are requiring permits (which I applied and was approved for), but only approved permits can shoot Monday-Thursday with ZERO props. Please take a second to email any questions and concerns if you wish to parks@sccmo.org.

County parks are as follows: Broemmelsick Park, Heritage Museum, Hideaway Harbor Park, Indian Camp Creek, Louis H. Bangert Memorial Wildlife Area, Klondike Park, Matson Hill Park, Quail Ridge Park, Towne Park, and the Youth Activity Park.

As most of you know, we shoot at the local parks very often, and have never had an issue, nor left any sort of mess at all. Either way, we have to make adjustments to the schedule and find new locations to shoot. This is where you come in! If you know of any local areas that could be a nice place to shoot (those cool hidden places that not everyone knows about) please share!

Also, I am looking for any sort of personal property in Warren/Lincoln/St. Charles County that the owner would be open to discussing JGP to be able to shoot sessions there. Of course we could work with that person and respect all property and schedule, but I would love to find a local spot. So if you or someone you know would be interested please contact us at JGP. There is always stuff in it for property owners! I would be highly interested in spots with a lake, barns/out buildings, farm areas, bridges, even just a location with a great tree line and SHADE! Shade is #1! Any leads on this would be fantastic!

If you have a session booked at any of those locations, I will be in touch shortly to move locations.

Thank you to everyone for your continued support!!
